No Apologies

People who are intimidated by you will speak bad about you hoping that others won't find the jewel in you that they know you have.

When your standards are too high don't apologize !

Mental Dressing

Sometimes we carry so much anger and hurt that it becomes part of our wardrobe. That designer has no power! Recreate your inner you.  Customize your design  to fit you by transforming your mind.

Ephesians 4:29-31

29 Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen. 

30 And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, with whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. 

31 Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice. 

Blessings move towards you as you move toward them. So you can't get them by keeping still waiting for them to come to you. 

The Blinded Eye

We often think because we can't see things with the natural eye that God is failing at his promise. But God works in a realm that we can never understand. So keep your faith and just believe.

Hebrews 11:1. Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

What's Best for you

Family and friends always want the best for you. So they try and tell you what you should do with your life. You know what you love and enjoy doing . You wrestle with what's within because you are trying to please others. Live your purpose. I'm not telling you to quit your job. If it's what God ordained for your life he will remove you anyway. Find it, live it, and enjoy it! Your purpose was destined for you!

" We are what we pretend to be,so we must be careful about what we pretend to be."

4 Then the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

5Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.

You Perfected Your Purpose

When you removed yourself from my life, I was perfectly fine with it. That's when I realized that I am Blessed to know that I don't want another like you! You perfected your purpose!

Cast Your Cares on Him

What's painful is having someone else's  back that doesn't have yours. Don't  allow others to invade your space.  People will dump on you and get mad at you because you know. That's why a therapist is paid a healthy price. Stop sewing into someone who isn't going to use your advice anyway! Now you're left carrying their garbage you didn't need .Keep a distance from those who spitefully use you. To be honest, they really don't like you anyway, they're just releasing that burden so they don't have to carry it!

1Peter 5:5-9

Cast Your Cares on Him

5Likewise, ye younger, submit yourselves unto the elder. Yea, all of you be subject one to another, and be clothed with humility: for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble.

Five Finger Prayer

This is a Prayer I found Helpful to keep everyone covered, ENJOY!

Five  Finger Prayer

What a wonderful way of praying:

1.  Your thumb  is nearest you.. So begin your prayers by praying for those closest to you. They are the  easiest to remember. To pray for our loved ones is, as C. S. Lewis once said, a 'sweet duty.'

2. The next finger  is the pointing finger. Pray for those who teach, instruct and heal. This includes teachers, doctors, and ministers. They need support and wisdom in pointing others in the right direction.

   Keep them in your prayers.

3. The next finger is the tallest finger. It reminds us of our leaders. Pray for the president, leaders in  business and industry, and administrators. These people shape our nation and guide public opinion.

   They need God's guidance.

4. The fourth finger is our ring finger. Surprising to many is the fact that this is our weakest finger, as any  piano teacher will testify It should remind us  to pray for those who are weak, in trouble or in  pain. They need your prayers day and night. You cannot pray too much for them.

5. And lastly comes our little finger - the smallest finger of all which is where we  should place ourselves in relation to God and  others. As the Bible says, 'The least shall be the greatest among you.' Your pinkie should remind you to pray for yourself. By the time you have prayed for the other four groups, your own needs will be put into proper perspective and you will be able to pray for yourself more effectively. 

Don't  ever tell God how big your storm is,

Tell the storm how big your God is!!!!!     Amen

Follow Directions

When God is trying to move you in his direction and you refuse to be directed, life becomes so chaotic. Being obedient is better than sacrificing your health.

WELCOME TO 2015

One thing I've learned over the past year is that people have power over me only if I give them that power! The Lord said New Year, BETTER Marcia Lynette Owens Merritt! He said, now let Me attract only positivity and show how really Blessed you are! He said, some may not be able to handle where I'm about to take you. He said, I will remove some people for you because I know you are not strong enough to remove them on your own. Lord I am ready for the major transformation you have tailor made for me! So  as I live, I pray my blessings will flow out so others can be Blessed. Please pray with me that God's will , will be done in our lives! HAPPY NEW YEAR and may we have a PROSPEROUS year!
